One this is for certain, things are hopping at SUPER Learning Center! After a late night at Canal Park with the Akron Aeros, we were met with the photo crew from our website designers to spend the morning getting new pictures for the website. Yes, my friends, we are FINALLY in the home stretch of getting the website back up and functional.
Anyways, you would have thought our kids were the main course of Easter Dinner the way they were hamming it up. One of the kids informed the photographers that they were "the best we ever had and could they come back next year". Another was doing his best to get into every shot.
Overall, there were thousands of shots taken and now comes the difficult job of weeding it down to hundreds and then dozens for the website.
"Heroic Moments" is all about SUPER Learning Center and our recognition of our heroes - our staff, kids and anything related to Asperger's Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related development disorders.

Night at the Akron Aeros
The staff, parents and kids were all pumped about going to the Akron Aeros. You see, last month, several of the players and Orbit came to the school for Autism Awareness Month and this got the ball rolling (no pun intended).
Here is a group picture with Aeros #15 Brian Price. Brian took some time pre-game to sign autographs and interact with the kids.
Our own Mr. B was honored with throwing the first pitch:

Sorry for the long distance picture, but I was up promoting Diamond Ball at the main entrance.
The weather held until the bottom of the 7th and parents, kids and teachers alike all had a great time at Canal Park.
By the way, the Aeros won 12-8. HURRAY.
